Baddie of the Week 🕶️
Lua.
Her first 5K.
This week’s Baddie is very close to home.
Lua decided she wanted to run a 5K.
Not because she had a pace goal.
Not because Strava told her to.
Not because she knew anything about Zone 2, carbon plates or negative splits.
She wanted to run 5K with her mum, and get a beautiful medal too!
So today, she did.
Her first ever 5K. Her medal. Her win.
And honestly, this is exactly why The Bad Runners exists.
Running doesn’t belong to the fastest people. It belongs to anyone brave enough to put their shoes on, get to the start line and have a go.
Sometimes the biggest win is simply doing something you’ve never done before.
Lua, you claimed it. 🕶️
First 5K: DONE.
That’s Baddie behaviour.

Baddie of the Week 🕶️
Sophie.
One run at a time.
Last month, Sophie was running 2km.
Earlier this week, she ran 4km.
And on her very next run, she hit 5km.
That’s what happens when someone keeps showing up, and when they’re surrounded by people who celebrate effort, not just pace.
Sophie is proof that progress doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful. You don’t need to be the fastest. You just need to keep going.
She has the spirit of The Bad Runners all over her: courage, consistency, humility, and heart. We’re so proud of you, Sophie 🤍
If you’re building confidence one run, one walk, one comeback at a time, you belong with us.
Come join The Bad Runners. You belong here.

Baddie of the Week 🕶️
Nat.
Discovering she is a runner.
For her entire adult life, Nat told herself she couldn’t run. And that she never would. Then, in May, she started Couch to 5K. One goal: reach 5K and see whether she could.
She stuck with it and reached the goal, but then she noticed something changing beyond her fitness. She felt better mentally and emotionally, too. In a world that felt loud, running gave her somewhere to quiet her brain.
That part of her story really stayed with me. You start with a distance in mind, and along the way you find something you want to keep coming back for.
Nat has now run 8K and is getting ready for her first 10K in November. But the win I want us to celebrate is also this: she kept showing up and gave herself the chance to discover that she IS a runner.
She says she’s still at the beginning of her journey. And she’s proud of herself already, as she should be. You don’t have to wait for some bigger finish line to claim that. ❤️
Baddies, let’s give Nat some love and cheer her towards that first 10K! 👏👑
